Growing up in Detroit, the Motor City, surrounded by a family of “wrenchers,” my passion for American muscle cars started at an early age. As soon as I was old enough to lend a helping hand, I was turning wrenches, rebuilding engines, and working on anything I could get my hands on.

That passion led me to enroll in a vocational program focused on classic car restoration and race car building. By age 13, I was sculpting cars in clay, and by 14, I was painting show cars. What started as a childhood fascination quickly became a lifelong pursuit of automotive design and craftsmanship.

After earning my bachelor's degree in Transportation Design from Lawrence Technological University, I turned my passion into a career as an automotive clay sculptor at General Motors. I also founded MR Design with a vision of helping fellow automotive enthusiasts bring their dream rides to life.

One of my proudest accomplishments has been transforming my 1983 AMC Spirit into a custom pro-touring show car alongside my partner, Brandon. Built from the ground up in our two-car garage over two years of nights and weekends, the Spirit represents everything I've dreamed of since childhood. What began as an ambitious project has taken us from its debut at the Goodguys Summit Racing Nationals to the 2026 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, where we're competing in the prestigious Battle of the Builders competition.

Today, I'm fortunate to live out my dream both professionally and personally. From designing and building custom vehicles to traveling the country as an ISCA-certified show car judge, I continue to pursue my passion for all things automotive. Through MR Design, my mission remains the same as it was from the beginning: helping others turn their automotive dreams into reality.
